Davis Barnett

Davis is a graduate of the New School of Music and has been performing with Strings for Schools for 20 years. He actively performs in many free lance activities in the Philadelphia area, including the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Opera Company Orchestra, the Philly Pops, and the Concerto Soloists. In addition he teaches at the Central High School Music Department. In his work with Strings for Schools, Davis has also developed numerous new programs, "Strings for Ghouls", for the 1999-2000 brochure, "Strings 'Round the World" for the 2000-2001 season, and "Catch the Vibrations" for the 2001-2002 school year. He is the leader and violinist of the String Quartet programs, and violinist with the James D Ensemble.
