Basic & Extended Instrumentation Programs

With the basic and extended instrumentation programs, students are introduced to the instruments and music that form the building blocks of our finest and most enduring music.

These programs are designed to acquaint and get youngsters excited about the basic forms of fine music in America -- the music itself, the instruments, and the fundamental qualities of great music. They are presented in schools where music education is either non-existent or below minimum standards. They are equally effective where music education is available, but in this instance to support and strengthen the work of music teachers and to encourage music students to stay involved in music.

All programs are approximately 45 minutes to one hour in length. Please click on the links below for program details. Programs are listed in alphabetical order by ensemble name.
